UPVC Doors are high quality Vacuum Formed 100% uPvc Doors. Manufactured by compressing two PVCu skins either side of an Extra High Density Natural core at pressures three and half tonnes per square metre. Creating a solid door panel that is resists both heat and moisture and retains a high colour stability. All door panels are backed by a 10 year manufacturers warranty. Door panels come in a selection of styles and finishes, from white to woodgrain and half glazed to completely solid panels.

Inliten French Doors are fitted with Float/Soft Coat double glazing units, ensuring savings on home heating bills and reduced carbon emissions. Available with either double or triple glazing – allowing all the benefits that come with a French Door without having to compromise on energy efficiency.

French doors are fitted with multi-point locking mechanisms, ensuring that both openings remain safely and securely fixed together when in their locked position. Restrictors are fitted as standard to all outward opening doors for additional safety.


Styles and Finishes:

French Doors are manufactured to specific size requirements and can be fitted with a panel and glazing unit, or glazing unit only. A range of panel designs are available, including our popular tongue and groove style Newry half panel. French Doors can be further personalised with the addition of Georgian bar, Astrical bar or decorative glass design, eg: diamond lead.

Designed to complement our Inliten window and door range, French doors feature a sculptured frame finish and are available in a range of colour options.


Glass:

Inliten French Doors are available with either energy efficient 24mm double or 36mm triple glazed units.

For optimum security, all Inliten door glazing units use toughened glass – which is 4-5 times more difficult to break than standard glass – on both the outside and inside panes of the glazing unit.

How to measure for a new PVC front door

These guidelines are to help you measure for a new PVC front and frame and make an accurate measurement.

Measure the door opening outside on both the height and width.

You have to always measure the exact brickwork opening and not the old frame or door.

Measure brick to brick in at least three different places and then deduct 10mm from both the final height and width measurements. - This is to allow for the for 5mm fitting allowance around the new frame. This will make sure the new frame will sit plumb and square once in place.

If you have any gaps then spacers and filler will be required to secure the frame into place and fill any of the gaps.


Vital: Please remember:

  • Do not measure your existing door or frame but measure the brick opening.
  • Make sure to measure in at least three different places and deduct 10mm from both the final height and width measurements - we do not make any fitting allowances on the sizes you provide.
  • All dimensions to be supplied in Metric and all designs viewed externally.

How to Measure - Width

Width
The width should be measured brick to brick at three points - top, middle and bottom of the opening. The smallest of these measurements is taken as the width. Always deduct 10mm from the final width.


How to Measure - Height

Height
The height should be measured brick to brick at three points - left, middle and right of the opening. The smallest of these measurements is taken as the height. Always deduct 10mm from the final height.
